The vast expanse of Siberian tundra can be daunting. Over 15 years of expeditions we have devised a way to split the immense region into smaller zones for efficient logistical planning. For each of these zones, identified for their paleontological interest, we have a base-camp that serves as the starting-point for local expeditions. Roughly in the center of all the activity, Khatanga serves a multifaceted purpose as local base-camp, Siberian headquarters and conservation center. Open the map below to explore each region.
