Lucas became involved with mammuthus in 2009 and has since then been exposed in depth to the exploratory, scientific and human facets of the initiative, as well as many tangential topics. Having gained a comprehensive overview, he is in a position to tell the mammuthus story.

As the youngest member of the extended team, it is his ambition to communicate the values of mammuthus to the younger generation. In particular, he hopes to share the spirit of exploration through education and cultural exchange.
